Ben Hollingsworth – Father Andrew
Ben Hollingsworth was born in Brockville, Ontario and began his acting career at the age of 17. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Ben’s first roles were in the theatre. Moving to Toronto, he transitioned to television, appearing in “Degrassi: The Next Generation”, “Heartland”, and “The Beautiful Life: TBL”. Ben has worked on films such as “The Joneses” with David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard; “The Cutting Edge III” and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2″.
Dan Payne – Divine
Dan Payne, was born in Victoria BC. However, he and his family moved numerous times while growing up. These recurring moves provided Dan with an independence and ability to use humor to adapt to new surroundings. Dan stands at a grand stature of 6’4†and weighs nearly 230 pounds. Before pursuing acting, Dan studied at the University of Calgary, and played for their U of C Dinosaurs volleyball team. He moved on to have a short stint as a professional volleyball player in Holland, and also coached volleyball camps for special needs children. After University, Dan moved to Australia , where he pursued his childhood dream of acting, and became a professional photographer to boot. Dan then moved onto London, England and continued studying acting, and earned some foreign film, credits. Eventually, Dan returned home to Vancouver, BC, where he is best known for his roles in “Smallville”, “Stargate SG-1″, “Alice I Think”, “Sanctuary”, “Stargate: Atlantis”, “Human Target” and films such as “The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz”.
Chasty Ballesteros – Jin
The beautiful Chasty Ballesteros was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is best known for her roles in TV Series such as “Sanctuary”, “Psych”, “Supernatural” and “Smallville”. Chasty’s energetic and naturally sexy look has also taken her to roles in commercials for Bud Light, and Kokanee. On the Film front, she has had roles in “Final Destination”, “Guido Superstar”, and “Encounter with Danger”. Chasty is athletic and enjoys activities such as volleyball, yoga, basketball and weight lifting.
Allen Sawkins – Deacon Jim
Allen started his acting career starring in theatre and short films such as “Waiting”, “Unforgotten’ and “Out of Step”. He is also a skilled voice-over performer and has completed numerous commercials. Allen is an avid singer and has two CDs to his credit, “Should Have Been a Cowboy†and “Heroâ€. He has taken on the role of Deacon Jim on the series “Divineâ€, a man of the cloth who has been privy to a great secret for most of his life.
John Emmet Tracy – Scorn
A Shakespeare trained actor, John Emmet Tracy has studied at London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. The Chicago native has been working in the industry since 1992, appearing in over 29 productions such as “Supernatural”, “Smallville”, “Fringe” and “Sanctuary”. John plays the central villain Scorn in the series “Divineâ€, a man whose mysterious background will have tremendous weight on the show’s continuing storyline.
Lisa Marie Caruk – Lon
The beautiful Lisa Marie Caruk has built an impressive acting career, having been in over 50 projects since she began acting in 1997. She has appeared alongside Leighton Meester, Samuel L. Jackson, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Brett Harrison while working on shows such as “Supernatural”, “Smallville”, and “Stargate: Atlantis”. Lisa Marie also has extensive film credits, spanning from “Snakes on a Plane” to “Final Destination”.
Haig Sutherland – The Prophet
Appearing in shows such as “Jeremiah”, “Dead Like Me” and “Stargate: Universe”, Haig Sutherland has created some very memorable characters in the sci-fi genre. Haig has starred alongside “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”’s Amber Benson and David Boreanaz, as well as “Firefly”’s Nathan Fillion and “Halloween”’s scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis. In Divine, Haig joins the cast as The Prophet, the mysterious philosopher.
Misha Collins – Father Christopher
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Misha Collins didn’t decide to pursue acting until after he interned in the White House during President Clinton’s administration. His first role came in 1998, and he swiftly attained a sizeable list of guest appearances on popular TV shows including “ERâ€, “24â€, “NCISâ€, two “CSI†shows and “Nip/Tuckâ€. In 2008 Collins made what was to be a guest appearance on “Supernatural†as an angelic warrior named Castiel. The show’s producers extended his run until he became the third credited cast member on the series in its sixth season. For “Divineâ€, Collins plays triple duty as a producer, a co-creator and one of the show’s cast members.
